Random rambling and Stash it forward

Ok, since I know I can only keep so much in my brain, and those sticky notes get lost everywhere. I started an idea journal, Looong Overdue. I combined all my sticky notes along with the ideas in my brain. Wow, that leaves a lot of room up there for more creativity.
I did some creating over the weekend and came up with some things that I like and other items I need to tweak still. Some of them are for trades at Art and Soul in October. though I am heading out on the Artistic Journey to Alaska with Tim Holtz in less than a month. SO Excited. So I am working on making a bunch of trades for my fellow artists. What do ya think.

My blogging buddy Michelle (aka FaerieDustDreams) is doing a RAK (random act of kindness) drawing through Friday, April 18th. So hop on over and visit her.

I was over visiting my friend Michelle’s (aka Hold Dear) blog. Wow lots of ‘M’ names going on. Any way she Inspired me to do my own “Stash it Forward”. I have gone through my studio room and found some great scrapbooking items to stash forward. So this time around I have a great Xyron tool that I will be stashing it forward to someone. So if you don’t have much of a budget for tools or know someone, please leave me a comment and on April 25th I’ll randomly draw a name.
I have plenty of supplies and tools so watch for more RAKs to come. It is good to do a bit of Spring cleaning.

To go with all my trades I am making, I went out and ordered some more Moo cards. After I receive them I will post the picture I used.

On my last post I showed pics of my green pages I finished for a chunky book swap I was in. I now have it put together, used my great zutter bind it all tool, and here is the finished product.

I sent off my creations for the Color Wheel swap I am in. You had to use recycled materials or items you already had. So with the color blue violet I had a good stash. Not a color I use often. This is what I came up with.

I had lunch with my friend Michelle on Monday. We are in Elise's round robin together. She passed on Rena's book to me, I am after her on the rotation list. I thought I would share a peek at the pages I finished for Deborah's book, theme Something retro, something new, something vintage, something blue.

Always more to come. Hope you enjoyed visiting and good luck.

You do great work! I certainly don't have much of a scrapping budget. My husbands job moved to Mexico, so he is working part time now. I work and have 2 kids, one with cerebral palsy. So, I am pretty much drained if you know what I mean. Thanks for giving me a chance.

Hi Melissa!

Michelle (aka FaerieDustDreams) told me about your "Stash It Forward" Xryon drawing.

I stopped by because I want to participate too. I don't own anything Xryon.

What a marvelous idea. I will think of ways I can do this too.

Thank You Very Much,

Hi there,
Just found your blog from a post on the Fiskateer site. I have a dear friend who has no money for scrapping supplies as her DH had to have a sholder operation (that went bad) and has not been able to work for around 9 months now, so if I was to win this I would be passing it on to her.
Thanks for the opportunity.
