A little shopping

To get ready for putting together all of my creations that I am involved in I had to add to my supply collection, always. I have a Round Robin that I am in with 10 other ladies and I picked the theme Feelings of Fall. I had alot of stuff to go with this theme but when I saw this stamp set I just had to add it to my collection. It came as all one but I may cut them apart and have them as smaller individual stamps.

I also got this background stamp. It is called Sanded. What background paper could not use a little more sanding. Or at least look like it was sanded.

Can't have enought stamps. I ordered these from my Stampin Up! demonstrator.

I also went and visited the Speckled Egg online store and found some great things. I found some beads and such for my Valentines Charm swap I am in. Even though it is a while away my mind is already thinking and creating what I am wanting to do for my charm. This is a group of ladies that initially formed a charm swap for the Portland Art and Soul retreat, making 50 or so charms for that. The charms were such a big hit that our Yahoo group had opened up the registration to new members. So this Valentines charm swap has grown to 50 ladies as well, some current and some new members. That is a large number. Our friend from Art and Soul Kecia so graciously took on the task of hosting the swap. Some of those ribbons may make it into my feelings of fall book.

My other swap that I am in is a Chunky book swap that has a theme of "My Favorite Things". With it being close to Christmas the hostess of this swap thought that 25 was a great number to work with. So I have 25 identical pages to put together, about a few of my favorite things, by the begining of December to send off to her.

While I was at my Altered Book club at Collage I did some shopping and saw these great Rub On product. While I was taking a class at Art and Soul my table mate Kerry Hoyle was using some. Her collage creation showed great depth after using these.

Until next time keep creating. :)
