Last weekend before Art & Soul

Ok, so this last week I have been out doing other things than packaging my charms and getting my supplies together. I figured I have time over the weekend. Though now I woke up this morning with a bit of a sore throat. So I will be drinking the fluids, downing the cold meds and trying to rest as much as I can between ecerything I need to get done.

So I mentioned that I was out doing things is last week. Well, I went Thursday to get my hair cut and while I was up in the neighborhood I went around the corner to this cute little shop Urbino. I saw that Sally Jean sells her charms and such items in the store. I am taking one of her classes at Art and Soul. Alot of other cute stuff I saw there. I may have to make another trip there when I have more time.

Here are a few pictures to share. First is one from Claudine Hellmuth's class I took last year at Art and Soul. Second is my before hair cut then my after hair cut. As it grows out it will be better. Then two other distractions that need my time as well. My dear fur kids.

Hello All ~

Well the weekend is over, bummer. I took a micro collage class at Collage with teacher Tammy Gilley, Sweet lady. Fun class. The other ladies in the class were great company, nice to meet all of them. I took my book home and worked on it, then Sunday I woke up and worked on it some more. It is my work in progress. Since as Tammy says More is More. Every time I revisit my book I'm sure that I will be adding to it. So let me share a few phots of my collage book, along with one of the teacher showing us her creation.

I also did some shopping at the store while I was there, of course I had to they have such great stuff.

I also went across the street and visited the cute shop Poppy and Ivy. Talked with Amy, the owner, for awhile about her trip to Las Vegas and attending the Memory Trends trade show. Look for lots of new good stuff coming to Collage. I have my next outing to collage lready planned.

Coming down to the wire.
Only two weeks left until Art and Soul. I have figured out what I will be presenting my charms in. This cute little box that I made. The other thing I had to figure out was how did I want to include my information with each charm. Well, I found out about moo cards so I quickly put an order in hoping that they get here in time. That is why I constructed my box to be the size that it is. Perfectly fit a moo card, hopefully.
Well off to work on more charms and boxes.

Hello there ~
Crafting has been going on in my house. My charms are coming along, with only two and a half weeks until Art and Soul I need to kick it into high gear. Though I did take some time out last weekend to enjoy some time at the 2nd Annual Foster Art Walk on September 15th. I visited the Trillium Artisans Center to see all sorts of Local Artists work.
